Operations Overview
The Cunningham Fire Protection District Operations Division
provides Fire, EMS, Hazardous Materials, and Public Assistance responses to our
community. We cover 14 square miles
and serve 57,000 residents. There
are 75 highly trained, dedicated men and women ready to respond to all
emergencies.
From our three stations covering
the fire district we provide engine response from each location, and two rescues
from station sixty-one and station sixty-three.
Each engine is capable of providing basic life support medical attention
and our rescues are capable of providing advanced life support treatment and
transportation.
We also have various support vehicles
available depending on the type of emergency we are called to. As
necessary, we respond utilizing Command vehicles, brush fire firefighting
equipment or Technical Rescue equipment.
For the year 2007, we responded to more than 4000 Fire, EMS, Hazardous Materials, and Public Assistance calls
in our community.
